About Malabar Missionary Brothers
The Malabar Missionary Brothers (MMB) is an indigenous Franciscan congregation founded in 1948 at Thrissur, Kerala, by Msgr. Zacharias Vazhappilly.
Guided by the motto “Evangelization Through Humble Service,” MMB serves communities across North and South India through education, care, rehabilitation, and social development.
Their ministries include special education, care for children and the elderly, vocational training, village development, rehabilitation, and community outreach.
Through these services, the Brothers remain committed to empowering individuals, supporting families, and transforming lives with compassion and dignity.
